Wall Sections

This project explores structural, thermal, and hydrological performance through the integration of mass timber framing, cast concrete pad footings, and an aluminum storefront system for the curtain wall facade. The foundation responds to the site’s slope with embedded supports, while one square is cantilevered, introducing a dynamic structural element. Operable louvers and a natural ventilation system enhance environmental responsiveness, allowing for passive cooling and airflow regulation.
