Exploring Grasshopper

This course introduces robotic fabrication through computational form-finding and form-conversion, focusing on architectural geometry in digital workflows. Students engage with Grasshopper, Kangaroo2, and fabrication tools like the Kuka KR240 robot arm. Through hands-on workshops, they explore parametric modeling, simulation, and extended reality, developing skills in Situated Technologies. Small design-build projects emphasize the interplay between digital modeling, material constraints, and construction-aware computation, fostering innovation in architecture and its evolving relationship with technology.
