Allegheny West Public Library

The project revolves around the concept of using arches to design space. Using a grid I am able to show where the main arches occur. These arches get brought through the building at 30, 45 and 60 degree angles. This enhances circulation/movement throughout the library design. The major arches are triple height spaces to create a public space. There are catwalks incorporated on the 2nd and 3rd floor. This increases circulation possibilities throughout the building.
